Charges have been pressed against Lil Nas X recently. On August 21, 2025 Nas X got arrested and has been listed under the Los Angeles Jail. The 26-year-old American rapper has been arrested on grounds of misdemeanor against government officers.

On August 21, Thursday morning Lil Nas X has been caught for allegedly mistreating and assaulting a police officer. And it all happened in an incident that unfolded that morning.

Lil Nas X Got Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting Police After Allegedly Overdose 

The Entertainment Weekly has published a report on the incident. They have mentioned that Montero Hill, aka Lil Nas X has been arrested at around 6:10 am on the Thursday morning. Later, at 11:22 am local time, the American rapper was booked with the charges at LA Jail.

Later, it was revealed that because of a possible overdose he misbehaved with police officers. He was allegedly roaming on the streets of Los Angeles after his possible overdose. Then the matter allegedly escalated to him harassing and assaulting police officers 

Furthermore, Lil Nas X was also hospitalized. Reports have revealed that the Rapper was spotted roaming across the streets of LA Studio City Neighbourhood while a passerby also captured him on camera. He was seen in his underwear and boots and was not in his completely stable mental state because of the overdose.
