Elizabeth Taylor and her Chocolate Martini are already legendary. Taylor was inspired by a concoction while once mixing with Rock Hudson. She made her name during the filming of the epic 1955 film, ‘Giant.’ Now, after so many years, the nostalgia is coming back to life.

In a recent update from Tryst Hospitality, the Elizabeth Taylor Chocolate Martini is said to be making a comeback. And with the buzz shooting through the roof, here’s a detailed report on what it actually means.

Tryst Hospitality Makes An Effort To Renew Elizabeth Taylor’s Iconic Drink

For the uninitiated, there is a particular recipe for the drink. It consists of Tito’s Vodka, chocolate syrup, Kahlua shaken over ice and served as a smooth drink. However, now that the drink is coming back, it is much more than nostalgia. Tryst hospitality is treating the drink as part of a noble fundraiser.

For each martini sold, an amount of $1 will be donated to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS foundation (ETAF). Her foundation had an aim to work towards an AIDS-free culture. Meanwhile, the Tryst group has always been an active advocate for educating the mass about the ill-effects of AIDS. Their partnership with ETAF has long been carried out at The Abbey Food & Bar.

The hospitality company has a history of hosting World AIDS Day tree lightings and many other events in line with the same. Apart from the restaurant, there are many other locations that serve as venues for Tryst’s AIDS drive. And all the locations will be contributing a donation annually to the ETAF. Thus, with a lot coming in, it now remains to be seen how things will pan out in the future.
