P. Diddy’s ex, Yung Miami, faced backlash for what many called a “gross” social media post following the partial acquittal in his sex trafficking trial. A jury cleared Diddy of the most severe charges – two counts of sex trafficking and one count of racketeering.
The disgraced music mogul was found guilty on two counts related to the transportation of individuals for prostitution. Throughout the trial, Diddy maintained his innocence and denied all allegations, including those raised in civil lawsuits.
Shortly before the verdict, Diddy’s ex, Caresha Romeka Brownlee, spent time with his twin daughters and consistently showed public support throughout his legal battle. Critics had already taken issue with her earlier comments that seemed to dismiss alleged victims like Cassie Ventura as merely “playing victims.” Her latest post reignited that outrage.
After the verdict, Miami shared a black-and-white Instagram Story featuring a video of Justin Bieber grinning and flashing a popular Gen Z approval gesture with his index finger and thumb.
Backlash
The clip quickly circulated across X (formerly Twitter), where users slammed her for what they perceived as a celebratory and tone-deaf reaction.
“She’s gross,” one person commented. Others didn’t hold back: “…literally never want to hear from her ever again,” and “She’s not a girl’s girl and clearly will sell her soul for money.”
Adding fuel to the fire, Yung Miami also posted “11:11” with four heart emojis—a cryptic message that only amplified criticism.
One person replied, “This is why your career is over and nobody is checking for you.”
Another added, “Wow, when I think you can’t go any lower, you prove us wrong.”
Bieber’s Statement
A few weeks ago, Justin Bieber issued a statement through a spokesperson to clarify that he was not one of Diddy’s victims. He emphasized that attention should remain on those who were.
“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,” the statement read. “Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”
As for Yung Miami. The less said the better.
