WWE fans witnessed a troubling moment during a recent episode of Raw when Zoey Stark suffered a knee injury mid-match. Known for her athleticism and high-energy moves, Stark became the latest wrestler sidelined due to an in-ring accident. The incident occurred during the Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match, which featured Stark, Rhea Ripley, and Kairi Sane.
What started as a typical high-stakes contest quickly turned into a serious situation. Stark attempted a daring maneuver off the ropes—a missile dropkick—targeting Sane in hopes of eliminating her from the match. However, the execution didn’t go as planned. After launching into the air, Stark landed awkwardly, causing her knee to twist unnaturally. She collapsed to the mat in visible pain, immediately clutching her knee.
Zoey Stark Injury: Medical Attention Halts the Action
As the other competitors stood back, concerned, the referee called a pause. Medical staff rushed to Stark’s side and began assessing the injury on the spot. With the show heading into a commercial break, Stark was helped to the back and removed from the contest entirely.

Once the broadcast returned, the commentary team confirmed Stark would not be rejoining the match. With one competitor down, Ripley and Sane resumed their battle for a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Ultimately, Ripley emerged victorious after delivering her finishing move, the Riptide, to secure the win.
For fans and fellow wrestlers, the sight of Stark being taken out of the match was all too familiar. This isn’t her first knee-related injury. In November 2021, Stark suffered a serious setback when she tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. That injury kept her off WWE programming for nearly nine months. She eventually made her comeback in July 2022 during her time in WWE NXT.
While there has been no official update yet on the extent of her latest injury, the visual from Raw has left fans worried about a possible recurrence of her past knee issues. Given her history and the severity of the move gone wrong, it’s likely she will undergo further evaluation to determine whether a long-term recovery is necessary.
For now, the WWE universe waits anxiously to hear more, hoping that Stark’s injury isn’t as serious as it first appeared and that she can return to action soon.
