Police are on the hunt for Travis Decker, who is on the run under suspicion of killing his daughters in Washington state.

Whitney Decker’s three daughters, Paityn (9), Evelyn (8), and Olivia Decker (5), had been reported missing on May 30 after their father failed to return them following a scheduled visitation. The three were found dead on June 2, 2025, near Rock Island Campground in Chelan County, Washington.

The Wenatchee Police Department asked the public for help locating 32-year-old Decker. He is wanted on three counts of murder and kidnapping.

According to The Seattle Times, deputies from the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office found the bodies of the three girls approximately 75 to 100 yards from the Decker’s pickup truck. Court documents state the girls’ wrists were bound with zip ties, and authorities believe they died from asphyxiation.

Who were the Deckers?

The Wenatchee School District confirmed that the three girls attended Lincoln Elementary School. Travis Decker enlisted in the Army in 2013 and transferred to the Washington National Guard in 2021. He served full-time until 2024 and stopped attending mandatory monthly drills a little over a year ago.

Court documents indicate that Travis and Whitney Decker were married for seven years prior to their divorce. The divorce was described as “civil” by Whitney. As their marriage came to an end, doctors diagnosed Travis with borderline personality disorder. According to court filings, Whitney believed he was not taking any medication for the condition.

The parenting plan required Travis to seek mental health treatment and anger management counseling, but court records show he never followed through.

A GoFundMe has been set up for Whitney Decker to help support her in covering the expenses of the case and to allow her to take time off without worrying about a financial hit.

Donations to Whitney Decker can be made on this GoFundMe.
