Kanye West’s latest media appearance lasted barely four minutes before unraveling. Joining Piers Morgan Uncensored from a beachfront property in Majorca, Spain, West seemed calm at first. He appeared alongside influencer Sneako, ready for what should have been a standard interview. But tension flared quickly, ending with West walking out mid-conversation.
Morgan began the segment by asking about West’s current life. Instead of a direct answer, West pointed to the ocean view behind him and implied that the setting reflected his state of mind. Morgan, however, challenged the idea. He noted that West’s peaceful surroundings sharply contrasted with his recent public behavior.
Before Morgan could finish his thought, West interrupted. He rejected the idea that his life and image were in conflict. He claimed many artists support his right to self-expression. He also said he had been through personal and financial attacks, particularly pointing to alleged harassment from financial institutions. For him, simply surviving that chaos and enjoying the view counted as a victory.
Kanye West Follower Count Sparks Collapse
Trying to move forward, Morgan brought up West’s activity on X (formerly Twitter). He stated that West had 32 million followers. That sparked an immediate backlash. West snapped back with a crude remark and accused Morgan of trying to undermine him. He insisted they check the actual number. After a quick fact-check, Morgan’s team confirmed the count was 33 million. Morgan responded with a sarcastic acknowledgment of the difference.
Rather than let the issue go, West shifted to a broader defense of his legacy. He called himself a gift and questioned why media figures often ignore the emotional impact his music has had on people’s lives. He pointed out that many of his songs have become part of major life events for listeners—like weddings, graduations, and even funerals.
West argued that his art is full of love, and accused Morgan of overlooking that. He said critics often ignore the emotional weight of his work, instead choosing to focus on negativity.

Morgan appeared confused by the turn in conversation. He clarified that he had played West’s music and hadn’t made any attack. Still, West remained confrontational. He said Morgan refused to accept responsibility for his own words and behavior. He ended by saying the interview could continue only after Morgan learned how to “count.”
Without further warning, West stood up and left the call. Sneako, still seated, calmly confirmed West’s exit and continued the interview alone with Morgan.
