John Cena Gets Brutally Honest About Delaying Hair Transplant: “I Thought I Was Alone”

John Cena and his bald patch has been one of the biggest talking points in the wrestling realm. Coming to the WWE at an early age, Cena made some big headways. He quickly rose to the top and became the face of the company. However, after spending some significant time together with the promotion, Cena decided that it was time to explore new opportunities. Transitioning to Hollywood, Cena did make his return to Vince McMahon’s company. And with him, came the bald spot. 

John Cena Opens Up About His Hair Transplant 

John Cena’s comeback was an emotional one for the fans. However, the WWE universe can also be brutal at times. They constantly mocked Cena for his baldness. This immediately prompted the WWE veteran to go and explore his options. And soon he found out about the fix. 

And surely, Cena did find a way to sort out his hair issues. For when he returned for his final year at the WWE, the 48-year-old’s bald patch was non-existent. Opening up about his new hair care routine, Cena stated that he is enjoying his renewed hair growth. He pointed out that with all the hatred he got for his baldness, it compelled him to try and find a cure. Initially, the 17-time World Champion was hesitant. 

He thought that his case was an exceptional one. Soon, Cena came to terms with reality. “I thought I was alone, but seven or eight out of 10 [men] suffer from thinning or baldness. If somebody’s going to sweat me for that, I don’t think there’s any shame in that,” Cena said. “It completely changed the course of my life.”

Now, the WWE veteran has a set routine. Getting a hair transplant last November, Cena now undergoes red-light therapy, shampoo, conditioning, along with minoxidil and vitamins. Surely, Cena looks quite sorted with his hair. Now, with the beast, Brock Lesnar challenging him, it remains to be seen what happens next.
