Alex Fine Stands by Cassie After Emotional Testimony Against Diddy
Alex Fine is standing firmly beside his wife, Cassie, following her harrowing court testimony against Sean “Diddy” Combs. Over four intense days, Cassie spent nearly 20 hours testifying against the rapper, who faces serious charges including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
Fine, 32, shared his thoughts in a statement read by attorney Douglas Wigdor outside the New York City courthouse on May 16. Married since 2019, Alex and Cassie have two children together and are currently expecting a third. Throughout the week, Fine remained present, offering support as Cassie took the stand.
In his statement, Fine described the experience of sitting through his wife’s emotional testimony. He expressed a range of emotions—pride, love, and anger—as he watched her relive painful memories in court. Cassie’s testimony included several disturbing claims. Among them was a moment in 2023 when she tried to take her own life. Struggling with PTSD from alleged abuse, she attempted to walk into traffic. Fine stopped her and helped her get into rehab and trauma therapy.

Despite stepping in during a critical moment, Fine rejected any narrative casting him as a hero. He said he did not save Cassie. Instead, he credited her for saving herself through years of painful work. She alone, he said, fought through the abuse and emotional scars.
He ended his statement by focusing on their present life—one filled with family, laughter, and love. He called this dark chapter closed and asked for privacy as they prepare to welcome their son.
Cassie also released a statement through her lawyer. She thanked her family and advocates for standing by her. She said she was grateful for the support and was ready to leave this part of her life behind. Now, her focus is on the final stages of her pregnancy and the well-being of her growing family.
