IVE is gearing up to dominate the music scene this summer, and their members are getting into the thick of things. Jang Wonyoung co-wrote the lyrics for the song XOXZ, while Liz contributed to Midnight Kiss to further shape IVE’s signature sound.
Renowned lyricist Seo Ji-eum, known for crafting IVE’s narrative, also worked on XOXZ. She previously collaborated with Jang Wonyoung on ATTITUDE, the title track from IVE EMPATHY, raising expectations for another powerful synergy.
Starship Entertainment revealed the tracklist for IVE’s fourth mini album, IVE SECRET, set for release on the 25th of this month. The list was revealed through the group’s official social media channels.
The album also features four other tracks like Wild Bird, Dear, My Feelings, GOTCHA (Baddest Eros), and Bbibik (♥beats). This comeback arrives about seven months after their previous mini album, IVE EMPATHY, which dropped in February.
The EP sold over 1 million copies and earned 15 first-place trophies on local music chart with “Rebel Heart” and the main track “Attitude”.
With IVE SECRET, the group focuses on the emotions hidden behind their glamorous exterior, aiming to reveal a more vulnerable side and transform into a more multi-dimensional team.
K-pop Rules The World
K-pop is ruling the charts and on stage. Billboard confirmed that “GOLDEN”, the hit track from KPop Demon Hunters movie, claimed the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The fictional K-pop group – voiced by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami – has joined BTS in the elite ranks of K-pop acts topping the Billboard Hot 100.
Meanwhile, KATSEYE exploded onto the music scene at Lollapalooza 2025 with a slick, high-energy performance that immediately sparked buzz. The six-member lineup hit the stage with full-English tracks and sharp choreography, clearly aiming for Western appeal right out of the gate and earned praise from the public.
Even Sabrina Carpenter got into the K-pop scene during Lollapalooza 2025 when she playfully “arrested” members of K-pop sensation TWICE on stage.
