Taylor Swift has officially become the most-searched music artist on YouTube in the United States, beating both Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish in monthly search traffic. According to new research from Riverside, Swift secured the No. 3 spot among the most-searched YouTube channels in the U.S., drawing 9,828 monthly Google searches for her YouTube content alone.
Only Cocomelon (87,607 searches) and MrBeast (26,863) ranked higher. Among musicians, though, Swift stands alone at the top. For comparison, Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish attracted 1,779 and 1,658 searches, respectively – still falling short of Swift’s total when combined.
Her dominance extends beyond streaming numbers and concert sales. With her cultural relevance and digital strategy, Swift continues to generate massive online buzz-now adding search engine supremacy to her list of achievements.
Swift Rules the Algorithm
Swift also emerged as the most-searched artist in Alaska, showcasing her widespread appeal across regions, climates, and generations. Whether fans are reliving Eras Tour memories or awaiting her next surprise drop, they’re searching and clicking in record numbers.
“Search trends for MrBeast and Taylor Swift show that Americans want both original creator content and traditional music on YouTube,” said Abel Grunfeld, VP of Marketing at Riverside. “Creators can learn from this and tailor their strategies to match audience interests.”
Swift’s growing presence in digital metrics shows she’s more than just a pop star. She’s a digital powerhouse rewriting the rules of engagement in the creator economy.
Offline Influence
Taylor’s influence is strong among her peers, too. The pop icon helped introduce Ed Sheeran to the NFL as the ‘Shape of You’ singer revealed unexpected NFL allegiance. The British singer proudly declared that he supports the Tennessee Titans.
Taylor understandably roots for the Kansas City Chiefs, thanks to her relationship with Travis Kelce. Meanwhile, Kelce’s decline on the field is attributed to his offseason commitments, including his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift, according to a former NFL coach.
