Selena Gomez’s recent bachelorette trip to Cabo San Lucas was anything but low-key. With embroidered veils, mariachi bands, and personalized decor reading “Mrs. Levin,” the singer and actress leaned fully into her pre-wedding celebration—giving her 428 million Instagram followers a curated look at the festivities. The vacation, drenched in bridal white and punctuated by candlelit dinners and boat rides, marks Gomez’s most public acknowledgment yet of her upcoming wedding to music producer Benny Blanco.

The couple announced their engagement in December 2024 after over a year of dating, and while updates have trickled in since then, this is the first time Gomez has offered a detailed glimpse into the personal moments leading up to the ceremony. Her social media post, published on August 28, included a carousel of images and video clips from the Cabo getaway, where she was joined by a small group of close friends. The women were shown enjoying time on a boat, dining by candlelight on the beach, and lounging at a villa that had been decorated for the occasion.

A short video compilation closed out the post, set to Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream, a song co-written and produced by Blanco. The footage featured highlights such as a mariachi serenade, a villa dance party, and a beachside movie screening of Wedding Crashers.

While Gomez was in Cabo, Blanco marked his own bachelor celebration in Las Vegas. Shared through his Instagram Stories, Blanco’s weekend included spa visits, dinners overlooking the Vegas skyline, and what appeared to be a bagel spread from Sadelle’s. A snapshot from the celebration showed The Bear actor Matty Matheson holding a thick stack of cash, suggesting a weekend both indulgent and informal.

The engagement ring—designed with Gomez’s input—features a marquise diamond, a reference to her 2015 single Good For You. According to Blanco, the original design included large side stones, which Gomez later asked to have removed. “We’re going to make earrings for her,” Blanco told Interview in February. “She basically has three wedding rings.”
