Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding plans have been inadvertently revealed by their friend Ed Sheeran. During a Vanity Fair lie detector test, Sheeran confirmed that he had received and RSVP’d to their wedding invitation, indicating that the couple has started sending out invites and that the wedding is in the planning stages.
Ed Sheeran confirmed he had already RSVPed to Gomez and Blanco’s wedding. When asked if he had already been invited to the couple’s big day, he admitted receiving a ‘save-the-date’ card.

This revelation contrasts with Gomez and Blanco’s previous statements about not rushing into marriage. In a Rolling Stone interview, they mentioned taking things one day at a time and focusing on their music.
Although there is no official announcement made by Gomez and Blano about their wedding plans yet. Ed Sheeran’s unintended disclosure has sparked excitement among fans suggesting that the couple’s nuptials may be approaching sooner than anticipated.

The couple first met in 2013, with Gomez’s mother playing matchmaker in their story. After a decade of friendship, they began dating in 2023. By 2024, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco announced their engagement, and since then, they’ve consistently served up couple goals both on and off screen.
Sheeran also shared that Blanco attended his intimate wedding to Cherry Seaborn back in January 2018. During the lie detector test, he admitted he doesn’t have a favorite track yet from Gomez and Blanco’s joint album I Said I Love You First, which dropped in March.
“Not yet, no,” he said. “I gotta be honest – I bought it on vinyl, and I want to listen to it that way. I haven’t gone through the whole thing yet.”
