After 11 seasons, Wall finally announced his retirement on Tuesday. While his career has wowed many, several injuries have further dented the growth of the iconic athlete. However, on a much brighter note, Wall announced about getting an immediate new deal with the NBA.
John Wall Steps Into The Realm Of Broadcasting
According to recent updates, Wall will be joining the Prime Video studio crew. Entering the very first season of its 11-year NBA broadcasting deal, the streaming platform will surely benefit from the 34-year-old’s basketball IQ. Immediately after getting the opportunity, Wall seemed immensely pleased to have gotten the opportunity.
The NBA star stated that now, he will have the chance to interact more with the audience. He also expects to share his deep knowledge of basketball and the game through the broadcasting channel.

“If you never really had the opportunity to sit down and talk to me, you won’t really understand how much I love basketball, where my basketball mind is at, where my IQ is,” Wall said.

The 34-year-old further explained how he has a keen eye for talents. Wall claims that just by looking at young athletes, he can immediately tell who the best player is among them. “I can basically tell you the best player in the country — from girls to boys, high school, to the players that’s in college, to the people that’s at the NBA and WNBA,” Wall stated in an interview with The Washington Post. Thus, with things looking bright, it now remains to be seen how well can Wall manage his broadcasting journey.
