In the ongoing Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex-trafficking trial, Cassie Ventura testified that a jealous P Diddy threatened to blow up Kid Cudi’s car after discovering her relationship with the rapper in 2011. Ventura recounted that Diddy made the threat while they were abroad, stating he wanted others to witness the explosion.
In her testimony, Cassie recounted briefly dating Kid Cudi in 2011 after a period of friendship and collaboration. At the time, her relationship with Diddy was strained. She said a jealous P Diddy discovered the relationship during what she described as a “freak-off” – a multi-day sex party – after he allegedly searched her phone and found emails she had sent to one of his staff members.

Diddy’s ex-girlfriend further alleged that the media mogul physically assaulted her, including an incident where he lunged at her with a corkscrew and kicked her after discovering her communications with Cudi.
In a 2023 lawsuit, Ventura had already accused Diddy of making threats against Cudi. Additional evidence presented in court included an email Ventura sent in 2011 warning about Diddy’s threats and photographs of bruises she sustained, taken by her mother.
Earlier Testimony
Ventura’s earlier testimony revealed that Diddy forced her to stay awake for days without sleep to participate in the humiliating “freak offs”. When asked how she managed to endure such long stretches without rest, she replied, “The drugs honestly helped,” explaining that Diddy supplied her with ecstasy or cocaine.
Ventura serves as the star witness in Diddy’s trial, where prosecutors have charged him with transportation to engage in prostitution, sex trafficking, and racketeering.
Diddy has denied all allegations, pleading not guilty to charges including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. He could face life in jail for just the racketing charge, a minimum of 15 years for sex trafficking, and a minimum of 10 years for transportation to engage in prostitution.
