A human leg bone was discovered down the road, approximately 0.3 miles from Taylor Swift’s seaside mansion, known as “Holiday House,” in the affluent neighborhood.
This area is typically quiet and upscale, making the discovery particularly unsettling for residents. The remains have been sent to the Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office for further analysis. Authorities have stated that there is currently no suspicion of foul play, and the investigation is ongoing.
This incident has reignited public fears of a potential serial killer in New England. It marks the 13th discovery of human remains across the states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts within three months.
Despite these concerns, law enforcement officials have dismissed the notion of a serial killer, attributing such theories to internet speculation. They emphasize that no patterns or links have been established among the cases and urge the public to avoid spreading unconfirmed theories that may distress victims’ families.
