Hailey Bieber is now a billionaire. The fashion mogul sold her skincare brand, Rhode, to e.l.f. Beauty in a billion-dollar deal comprised of $800 million in cash and shares, plus a $200 million performance-based payout.
Hailey announced the sale on Instagram, stating that she “found a like-minded disruptor with a vision to be a different kind of company that believes in big ideas and innovation in the same way that I do and will help us continue to grow the brand.”
What began with just three products (the Peptide Glazing Fluid, Barrier Restore Cream, and Peptide Lip Treatment), Rhode rapidly evolved into one of the beauty industry’s fastest-rising brands, now set for what E.l.f. describes as “rocketship growth.”
Hailey will remain actively involved as Chief Creative Officer and Head of Innovation, overseeing product development and marketing.
Support to Hubby
Reports say that Hailey chose to sell Rhode because she wanted to support her husband, Justin Bieber, in launching his new fashion line, SKYLRK. She plans to take an active role in the brand’s creative strategy and product development, shifting her focus to strengthen their marriage and help Justin succeed in this new venture.
The couple has recently come under the spotlight with growing speculation about tension in their marriage amid Justin’s behavior. Once seen as the devoted wife living in Justin’s shadow, Hailey has clearly stepped into her own spotlight. The Rhode deal not only shows off her sharp business sense, but it’s also reshaping public perception, transforming her image from “nepo baby” to serious entrepreneur.
The move shows how much Hailey cares about both her career and personal life. She stays involved with Rhode while also backing Justin and his new venture. The couple appears determined to hold onto their narrative as a power duo, navigating the pressures of fame, business, and marriage together.
