Drake calls out Canadian politician Jagmeet Singh for attending Kendrick Lamar’s concert in Toronto. Singh’s apology quickly followed, unfolding on Instagram for all to see. The former NDP leader was spotted at Kendrick Lamar’s concert in Toronto last week, an appearance that came amid an ongoing and highly publicized feud between the two rappers.
Drake shared a screenshot on Instagram that appeared to show a direct message he sent to Singh, calling him a “goof.”

The message came after images of Singh attending Lamar’s show at the Rogers Centre began circulating online. During the concert, the California rapper performed tracks like Squabble Up and TV Off from his latest album GNX, along with older hits such as Humble and All the Stars, the latter performed alongside his tour partner, SZA.
Lamar and SZA are currently on their Grand National Tour, which spans North America and Europe. Their only Canadian stop is in Toronto, at a stadium Drake himself has never headlined while on tour.
Not Like Us?
Drake calls out Canadian politician online, prompting Singh to quickly clarify that he attended the show to see SZA, not Kendrick Lamar.
“I was born in this city. I love this city. But real talk, I get it. I shouldn’t have gone at all,” Singh wrote. “OVO and Drake have lifted this city and [Canada]. For me, it’ll always be Drake over Kendrick.”

Meanwhile, the feud between Drake and Lamar has escalated beyond diss tracks into a legal dispute. Drake is suing Universal Music Group for defamation over its role in promoting Lamar’s diss track Not Like Us.
In court filings, Drake claims the song falsely portrays him as a pedophile, putting his safety at risk and harming his reputation. The allegations remain unproven in court.
