In a letter to Judge Lewis J. Liman, her attorneys say Wayfarer and Baldoni’s legal team are demanding documents they won’t even produce themselves. Lively now wants official protection from these demands. She has accused Baldoni’s side of double standards and gamesmanship.

In the letter, they claim the Swifties have become a key part of Baldoni’s “media strategy.” Suggesting he’s weaponizing the fandom against her.

Moreover, a PR memo reportedly cited Swift and her fanbase as major assets in their legal battle. A fact Lively’s camp sees as evidence that the pop star was always meant to be used as leverage. And now that the defamation cases have all been thrown out. Lively suggests the new strategy is to “distract” the public from Baldoni’s courtroom losses.
