Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jennifer Schmitt, publicly criticized his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, for interrupting a CBS Sunday Morning interview.
During the interview, Hudson intervened when the topic of her relationship with Belichick arose, stating, “We’re not talking about this,” which led to an awkward moment.

Schmitt shared her thoughts in the comments of an Instagram Reel from Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman’s podcast Dudes on Dudes.
The former Patriots stars defended Hudson, 24. suggesting she was acting in a publicist capacity to keep the interview focused on agreed-upon topics.
Comedian Nikki Glaser, who has spent time with Hudson and Belichick, had written, “100% this,” referring to Edelman and Gronkowski’s defense of Hudson. “She’s acting as his publicist. Publicists do this during interviews. People are out for blood.”
Schmitt, wife to Belichick’s son Stephen, implied that Hudson’s behavior was unprofessional.
“Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview,” wrote Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law in response to a comment left by Glaser.
Are we not talking about this?
Bill Belichick appeared on CBS Sunday Morning last week to promote his new book, but the interview quickly went viral for an unexpected reason – his girlfriend, former cheerleader Jordon Hudson, abruptly interrupted when asked how the couple met.
“We’re not talking about this,” she said, stepping in from off-camera.
The moment triggered a media frenzy and, according to Page Six, raised concerns among Belichick’s friends about Hudson’s growing influence over him.
In a statement released Wednesday through UNC, Belichick pushed back, accusing CBS of using “selectively edited” clips and images to falsely suggest that Hudson was trying to control the conversation.
Hudson, who began dating Belichick in 2023, has reportedly taken on the role of his unofficial agent following his split from longtime confidant Berj Najarian, shortly after Belichick’s departure from the Patriots in January 2024, ending a historic run that included six Super Bowl wins.
Belichick later defended Hudson’s actions, stating she was redirecting the conversation to focus on his new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football.
