Anne Hathaway delivered the perfect response after photos of her stumbling on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2 went viral.
The Oscar winner reprised her role as Andy in the highly anticipated sequel and filmed a scene this week outside a brownstone. As she walked down the stairs, her heel snapped and she tumbled to the sidewalk. Hathaway immediately stood up and assured the crew, shouting that she was “fine.”

She later connected the mishap to one of her most iconic movie moments from 2001. Hathaway reposted a video created by the Mayell Real Estate team, who captured the incident outside their office.
The edit opened with her famous fall on the bleachers in The Princess Diaries before cutting to her stairway slip on The Devil Wears Prada 2 set. Hathaway leaned into the nostalgia with her caption: “Twenty years later, still falling for you… 💕.”
Hathaway smiled as she half-hugged and leaned on a crew member, still wearing the broken shoe. Another photo captured her hobbling down the street while gripping a crew member’s arm for support.
