Fresh off their engagement, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out on their first public date night on Thursday at the Arrowhead Stadium – the same place where their love story first caught the world’s attention.
The couple joined Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, to watch the Cincinnati Bearcats face the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Arrowhead in Kansas City, Missouri. The main scoreboard lit up with a congratulatory message for Swift and Kelce, celebrating their engagement.

Swift marked the outing by debuting her engagement ring in public for the first time since announcing the news. She arrived alongside fellow Chiefs WAG Brittany Mahomes. Photos showed her smiling and ecstatic as she made her entrance.

Romance at the Arrowhead
Arrowhead Stadium holds special significance in the couple’s relationship. Travis first saw Swift there during her Eras Tour stop on July 8, 2023, when he famously tried – and failed – to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number. Just months later, on Sept. 24, 2023, Swift made headlines by cheering for Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs during a game against the Chicago Bears, sparking their romance.
Jewelry experts estimate the diamond at over 8 carats and valued at more than $1 million. “The value depends on the seller and retail markup, but likely ranges from $1.5 to $2 million,” said Steven Singer of Steven Singer Jewelers. Described as an elongated antique cushion-cut diamond set in 18k yellow gold, the ring features smaller diamonds and intricate hand-engravings.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce used a playful Instagram post to announce their engagement, captioning it: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” The romantic garden proposal photos sent fans into a frenzy.
Insiders said that the Kansas City Chiefs star proposed to Taylor “a couple weeks ago,” and both families have been privately celebrating the happy news. Well, Travis’ father, Ed Kelce, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that his son proposed “maybe two weeks ago” and originally planned to wait until the following week to make it a grand event.
