Judge Hippler imposed four consecutive life sentences without parole for first-degree murder, plus 10 years for burglary and $270,000 in fines. Kohberger, who was charged with murder and burglary, will be sentenced to four consecutive life sentences on the murder counts and the maximum penalty of 10 years on the burglary count, according to the plea agreement The deal spared him from death row after he pleaded guilty weeks before his scheduled trial.
