The drunk golfer had no idea he was challenging former NHL enforcer Nick Tarnasky, who promptly threw him into a pond before delivering a flurry of punches. The ex-Tampa Bay Lightning tough guy handled the situation exactly like his on-ice fighting days. His hockey instincts kicked in immediately.

The confrontation began when Tarnasky’s group complained that the golfers ahead had “stood around for 23 minutes,” creating a pace of play issue. The intoxicated golfer became increasingly aggressive. He yelled “Cry about it” before calling someone a “pussy” and challenging them to fight. That proved to be his biggest mistake of the day.
Tarnasky wasn’t having any of the chirping and immediately took action, throwing the other golfer into the pond before landing heavy shots. The former enforcer’s hockey fighting experience showed throughout the altercation. Tarnasky played for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Nashville Predators, and Florida Panthers during his NHL career. His professional fighting background became painfully obvious to his opponent.
