Sophia Hutchins was gone in seconds. A routine ATV ride near Caitlyn Jenner’s Malibu estate ended in unimaginable tragedy. The 29-year-old, once Jenner’s closest ally, housemate, and manager, slammed into a moving car, lost control, and disappeared down a 350-foot drop.
Authorities later confirmed what Jenner hasn’t yet said out loud. Hutchins died at the scene. The crash unfolded on Wednesday, just outside Jenner’s secluded Malibu residence. Hutchins had been navigating a narrow stretch of road on a quad when she struck the back of a passing vehicle. The collision flung her and the ATV violently off the pavement, launching them into a steep ravine below.

That same year, she stepped into Jenner’s chaotic post-divorce finances, helping stabilize the former athlete’s public image and schedule. They weren’t just close. They were inseparable for years.
She also entered the political spotlight. In 2024, Hutchins campaigned as a surrogate for Donald Trump, making several television appearances in support of the former president. But all of that came to an abrupt, shattering stop on a narrow road in the Malibu hills.
